Skype brings new AI background blur feature for video calls on Desktop

Microsoft has rolled out the new background blur feature on Skype that lets users blur the background and transfer the main target on them throughout video calls.

This feature is going to be offered for all users on Skype’s latest version that may work on each desktop and laptops. Not to forget the same background feature was extra for Microsoft group users last year that’s currently offered for all Skype users too.

With this featured added, users will be able to blur the untidy background be it home or workplace associated with video calls.

According to Skype, all desktop and laptop computer users using the latest version will realize the background blur possibility by hovering at the lowest to urge the video button throughout the video call. On pressing the right click button, users are able to blur the background. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) that may detect human and keep the user focused for the call. The technology may also detect hair, arms, and hand, that makes the call simple and relaxed.
