Here are the most common passwords of 2020

It is 2020 and apparently, people still make use of “123456” consistently as their passwords according to the recent list by NordPass.

While using “password” or “12354” is taken into account more of a meme than an actual password that folks use nowadays, Nord’s list proves otherwise.

The list published by NordPass had 200 worst passwords of 2020, alongside details on the number of times the password has been used and leaked. The website also included rank changes from the previous year and time taken to crack the actual password.

What was the outcome of the result?

The most common password for the year was “123456”. In the second place was something very similar to the first which is “123456789”. The keyword for this article “password” came out fourth in the results while “12345” was eight in the rankings.

This year, new additions came to the top ten rankings which are “picture1” and “senha”.
