Instagram will let you know if you’re facing account deletion

Instagram is implementing new ways in which to tackle however it deactivates policy-violating accounts, the company on some time last week.

Now, in addition to accounts that manage to get to a maximum number of violations, users that perpetually break the platform’s rules within a certain amount of time will face account deletion as well.

Instagram also noted on its blog stating that “similarly to how policies are enforced on Facebook, this change will allow us to enforce our policies more consistently and hold people accountable”.

With these policies changes, the company will start notifying users if they are close to the danger zone with content and their accounts.

There will also be an opportunity to appeal content deleted.
