Samsung has rolled out a new platform that allows iPhone users to experience what it feels like to own a Galaxy Device from an internet browser.
When iPhone users visit the platform – ”iTest” which is a website, a “Add to Home Screen” pop-up will be brought on. When added, the experience will be launched to simulate an interactive Android device.
“You’re about to get a little taste of Samsung, without changing phones. We can’t replicate every function, but you should quickly see that there’s nothing daunting about switching to the other side”, Samsung spoke about the feature.
iPhone users are able to access the Galaxy store, toggle between themes of the Android system, and have a feel of the features of the Galaxy devices. In the course of this experience, simulated phone calls and text messaging is available putting Android features in the spotlight.
A statement made earlier in 2021 proposed that brand loyalty went up for Apple and decreased for Android phones. If the data got from the report is precise, it could give a reason why Samsung is seeking to make iPhone users experience what Android feels like.
The feature described above was first seen by a MacRumors reader, who noticed that it’s presently being promoted in New Zealand. In spite of the .nz URL, the feature is at one’s disposal in other countries too.
